Greenway Minneapolis

The snow removal is really good on the Greenway. This rails to trail corridor runs for 5.5 miles from the city limits at the Mississippi River all the way to the next town of St Louis Park. There is plenty of access to Lake Street, one block away, the heart of numerous neighborhoods and businesses. Probably the best transportation corridor in America the potential to accomodate many more thousands of riders has yet to be tapped. And when that day comes there are plenty of alternative street routes. The Greenway connects to the Chain of Lakes  trail in Uptown and along the way exit spurs connect to shaded and quiet residential streets. So when coming to Minneapolis be sure to think biking as a means to get around. There is no better way to see this compact city than by bike.

  1. Nice! I’ve neverexperienced driving on a snowy road. I don’t know why I think it would be fun.
